Simply counsel your client to dial 1-877-987-6534, and let the referral begin.  There is a qualified MFT right in your area, available to help your clients with their specific needs and issues.  In fact, there are over 400 licensed MFTs throughout Connecticut who have completed the rigorous training required by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  These licensed MFTs have completed all of the testing and education requirements of the State of Connecticut and practice under one of the most stringent Codes of Ethics in the field of psychotherapy. 

            We have included brochures to give you more information regarding the unique qualifications and expertise that MFTs offer their clients.  MFTs are trained to focus on the individual within a system - a couple, family or group.  The specialized training allows them to view each problem through a wide lens and to consider many possible ways of helping clients achieve their goals.
